Advocate and lobby to raise awareness of the significant cost of Parkinson’s in social and economic terms. Build partnerships with relevant bodies to enhance our effectiveness. Educate health professionals, politicians and the public about Parkinson’. Encourage research.

To ensure best practice models of service delivery are equally available for all people with Parkinson’s nation-wide. To increase awareness of Parkinson’s. To increase support for and investment in research. To be an effective and well-governed organisation.

Parkinson's Australia works closely in partnership with the Shake It Up Australia Foundation and maintains contact with other Parkinson’s organisations around the world and is a World Parkinson’s Coalition Partner.
