Newcastle City Archers Inc is one of the oldest target archery clubs in New South Wales, having been established for over forty five years.
It is a friendly, relaxed Club catering for Target Archery.
At present the club has nearly 75 members whose ages range from 12 to 70+. Weekend events typically attract 20 to 30 or more regular shooters, all of whom use Compound or Recurve equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a target archery club - the type of archery seen in the Olympics. We do not cater for Field Archery, 3D archery nor bowhunting.

Shooting Times
Club shooting times are:
1. Saturday startng from 12.30 pm with the first scorng arrow at 1.00pm
2. Sunday starting at 8.30am with the first scoring arrow at 9:00 am
3. Subject to interest, from Mid November to end March, Wednesdays starting at 5.30pm with the first scoring arrow at 5.45pm
Location
Our club is situated in an old quarry at Eldon Street, Waratah West, Newcastle, next to Braye Park and directly adjacent to the Newcastle Pistol Club.
