Since 1963, Ellaways Music has been a household name for Queensland musicians. Starting as a humble French polishing business in Fortitude Valley, this family success story has grown to include two stores, servicing the north and south sides of Brisbane.
Ellaways is still wholly owned and operated by the Ellaway family and the patriarch and founder, Stanley, still has regular contact with management, ensuring the Ellaways values are upheld for all of our customers and that we continue to give our customers everything that they need to make great music.
Situated on Gympie Road at Kedron, approximately 6km from Brisbane’s CBD, Ellaways Kedron has two separate shop fronts. 315 Gympie Rd houses an exquisite collection of piano and keyboard instruments, while 337 Gympie Rd is the home of both music technology, contemporary instruments and Band & Orchestral. Here you will find everything from Clarinets to custom made Fender Stratocasters.
